iPhone blends

Wednesday, December 26, 2007

Whoa! Very amazing! A blender that can even blend and iPhone. They should've just used an iPod or a Nokia Xpress Music phone instead. (:-) So when it comes to all your blending needs, I recommend Blendtec.

Traveling During the Holidays

Thursday, December 20, 2007

Wouldn't it be nice to travel during the holidays? Spend some quality time with your family and enjoy the beauty of Europe, especially in Ireland. I heard that Ireland is such a wonderful place with a long line of history that dates back from the medieval times wherein high kings ruled over its lands. A place so historically inclined with scenic tourist attractions is a-must-go for me.

I would love to see the people's way of life, visit historic spots, eat good food, and experience the luxury of staying in hotels that offer affordable rates and cater to the needs of its guests. The Dublin hotels, Cardiff hotels, and Newcastle hotels will provide you with the convenience if your interested in visiting Ireland. A friend of mine, whose business is traveling from one country to another, told me that accommodations in Ireland are the best of not only what they offer but on how they give satisfaction to their customers through service. Geez! I really love to go abroad, maybe tomorrow, next month, next year, I don't know, but I will, soon enough.

Unbelievable Rock Formation: True or Not?

Tuesday, December 11, 2007

An unbelievable rock formation on the shores of a lake in Burma. It's only possible to view this image on a certain time of the year, due to the reflection of the angle of the sun. To view it better, tilt your head to your left as if you want to look at the image from a 90 Degree angle turned to the right and look at the reflection in the water joined together with the rock formation. The image depicts a praying mother and son.

Zeroes! Booooo

Saturday, November 17, 2007

I'm a Heroes fanatic! The TV series' story of a band of strangers who eventually discovered that they possessed extraordinary powers and were destined to “save the cheerleader, and ultimately save the world.” But now they already have their counterpart, a not-too-impressive bunch of losers who are annoying and are even not called for or destined to become the world's savior. LOL

Watch the Video and see for yourself...

Interested in buying a $100 Limousine?

Wowowee! What a very ingenious way of creating a classic, yet a very creative luxurious car. Filipinos will surely love to buy one of these crap. While Americans are trying to develop a 100$ laptop for children in Africa, Russians have developed a 100 buck Limo for Russian celebs. What do you think guys? Will this piece of crap last a day or two?LOL I'll probably swap my refurbished macbook air for this piece of junk..hehehe

Why do we need to work?

Friday, October 05, 2007

...in celebration of your natural strengths, talents and gifts.
...to make your weaknesses irrelevant, for they are.
...at something you love doing, something that brings you joy.
...to feel the satisfaction of good hard work, of intentional effort.
...to break a sweat, and to get dirty and gritty and real.
...to fulfill your personal mission, or
...to show your agreement with another’s mission.
...to make a difference, to feel fulfilled, to “make meaning.”
...to serve others well, and serve your spirit for giving.
...to support someone you care about.
...to help someone you believe in.
...to learn what you don’t yet know, and
...to teach, coach, and mentor others as only you can.
...for a cause you feel deeply about.
...to leave a legacy.
...to create a better future.
...to deliver a gift to humanity.

...and to show the world what you are capable of...

5 Don'ts In Sleeping

DON'T SLEEP WITH YOUR WATCH ON
Watches can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if you wear your watch to bed for a long time, it might have adverse effects on your health.

DON'T SLEEP BESIDE YOUR CELLPHONE
Putting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not encouraged. Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items including mobile phone and television sets emit magnetic waves when used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore if you need to put your mobile phone near you, switch it off first.

DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE UP ON
People who sleep with make up might have skin problems in the long run. Sleeping with make up will cause the skin to have difficulty in breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer time to go into deep sleep.

DON'T SLEEP WITH BRA
Scientists in America have discovered that those who wear bras for more than12 hours have a higher risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed without it. ;)

DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHERS' WIFE
You may never wake up again....:p

Which do you prefer Love, Lust or Marriage?

Wednesday, September 26, 2007

LOVE - When your eyes meet across a crowded room.
LUST - When your tongues meet across a crowded room.
MARRIAGE - When you lose your child in a crowded room.

LOVE - When you share everything you own.
LUST - When you steal everything they own.
MARRIAGE - When the bank owns everything.

LOVE - When you write poems about your partner.
LUST - When all you write is your phone number.
MARRIAGE - When all you write is checks.

LOVE - When you show concern for your partner's feelings.
LUST - When you couldn't care less
MARRIAGE - When your only concern is what's on TV.

LOVE - When your farewell is "I Love you, darling..."
LUST - When your farewell is "So, same time next week..."
MARRIAGE - When your farewell is a relief.

LOVE - When you are proud to be seen in public with your partner.
LUST - When you only see each other naked.
MARRIAGE - When you never see each other awake.

LOVE - When your heart flutters every time you see them.
LUST - When your groin twitches every time you see them.
MARRIAGE - When your wallet empties every time you see them.

LOVE - When nobody else matters.
LUST - When nobody else knows.
MARRIAGE - When everybody else matters and you don't care who knows.

LOVE - When all the songs on the radio describe exactly how you feel.
LUST - When the song on the radio determines how you do it.
MARRIAGE - When you listen to talk radio.

LOVE - When breaking up is something you try not to think about.
LUST - When staying together is something you try not to think about.
MARRIAGE - When just getting through today is your only thought.

LOVE - When you're only interested in doing things with your partner.
LUST - When you're only interested in doing things to your partner.
MARRIAGE - When you're only interested in your golf score.

Word for the day "Utot" a.k.a Break Wind

Never hold your farts in.
It will travel up your spine and it gets stuck in your brain. Thats the reason why shitty ideas and things come out of your mind. Let it out and smell the natural fragrance of your intestinal gas.

Do you love instant noodles?

Wednesday, August 22, 2007

We Filipinos are fond of eating at fastfood chains and most preferably love to cook instant meals, especially noodles. The fact that were in a fast paced society only tells us that we need to blend in with the population. Living in a third world country, such as the Philippines, only shows that an average low class Pinoy citizen would rather buy cheap and easy-to-cook meals, than prefer the usual way of preparing the dish served, which takes a lot of time, money, and effort. Don't you know that cooking instant noodles the 'wrong way' could harm our bodies and health? Ting! No idea?

Well, I got this article from one of my office mate in his blog. It deals with the correct method of cooking instant noodles to prevent additives added in the food's ingredients from becoming toxic.

Here are the correct instructions when cooking your favorite noodles:

1. Boil the noodle in a pot of water.

2. Once the noodle is cooked, take out the noodle, and throw away the water, which contains the wax like substance.

3. Boil another pot of water and place the noodle into the hot boiling pot and then shut the fire.

4. Only at this stage when the fire is off, and while the water is still very hot, that you place the ingredients into the water, to make noodle soup.

5. However, if you need dry noodles, take out the noodles and add the ingredients and toss it to get dry noodles.

This Guy Rocks!!!

Tuesday, August 21, 2007

I found this video of ours from an online streaming site, it kinda looked familiar cause it was tagged Smoking Kangaroos so when I viewed it, I was amazed seeing one of our band mate play our cover song from the Mayonnaise entitled, Jopay.

I certainly missed the times when we're just hanging out in the studio playing all the songs that we love, and jamming as if were rock stars in the making. lol Wish I could still bring back the good old days. Anyways, here's the video featuring my friend and band mate Lyle a.k.a the lead man. Rock on!!:D

Wasted Time

Finally after long years of waiting; the band, Smoking Kangaroos have finally launched their independent composition entitled 'Wasted Time', a punk music that instills the importance of time in our lives. This song is a tribute to the Mansion pipz and the Tayubong boys..lolz Enjoy watching this video!

Do the Kangaroo thing!

Tuesday, April 10, 2007

Smoking Kangaroos - A local OPM alternative and punk band born with friendship and of course a lot of beer..wheeww that was tough! Started in 2003 with Jam on drums, Lyle on bass, Jason on rhythms and back-up vocals, Ferdie on lead guitar, and Lei on lead vocals. It soon ended up merging some of the members from their brother band Eavesdrop. Aian, the drummer of Eavesdrop was imported to be the new bassist for the Kangaroos together with Keith as a substitute bassist. Although it was just a jamming session that formed the band and a lot of drinking..and it's really complicated! The rhythm guitarist was soon replaced with Lyle a.k.a “the lead man”, when Jason left for the US and Ferdie became the back-up vocals and rhythm guitarist for the group. They recorded their single song entitled 'Wasted Time' composed by their former lead guitarist. They also play revivals from the 80’s and the present. The band is settled in Cagayan de Oro and is proud to be part of the independent group of performers in the locality.

Jew You Rap?

Saturday, April 07, 2007

Matisyahu is the Hebrew and stage name of Matthew Paul Miller, an American Jewish Reggae musician. His music an inspring blend of religion, reggae and rap. So how's that for a change! He also revived the hit song from the Police entitled "message in th bottle". 'According to Matisyahu, while he was given a Hebrew name, his parents soon forgot the name and began calling him 'Matisyahu' as the Hebraic version of the English name Matthew. They soon discovered that his actual Hebrew name was Feivish Hershel. However, he was advised by his Rabbis to continue using the Hebrew name with which he had grown up'.
