Shopping for Kitchen and Dining products this Christmas

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Christmas is just around the corner. It’s already the Ber season and many are already listing what they want to buy this yuletide season. So this would be a great time for me to discuss some shopping tips for moms and dads out there. Mom if you’re reading this, I want a new mobile phone for Christmas. Usually working mom and dads that are in a hurry choosing what gifts to give their friends and relatives on Christmas do not spend so much time in shopping. So the simplest gifts they could probably give are kitchen tools that are used for cooking, dining products or even small appliances. It’s probably one of the very best gift oldies can receive this Christmas, since it is the time for cooking lots and lots of goodies and specialty recipes. So in choosing the best kitchen products as well as dining products, better have a guide on what to buy. There are a lot of affordable products in the market that are durable and could last a long time. The best souvenir you could give to your close buddies who love to be in the kitchen.

Shopping for a Nintendo Wii

Nintendo Wii
Isn’t it cool to have your own Nintendo Wii at home? For those of you who are not familiar with this gaming console, the Nintendo Wii is actually the fifth home video game console released by Nintendo. The main console features a wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a hand held pointing device. One thing that makes this gaming device a very cool gadget to have is because of its wireless Internet capability. With this device, you can actually receive messages and updates over the Internet while in standby mode using the WiiConnect24. Isn’t that cool enough?

I was planning on buying a Nintendo Wii this Christmas. While I was searching the net for some Nintendo Wii related product information, I stumbled upon this online shopping directory, which actually crawls the web for online products that you are interested in buying. It’s like a wikipedia for shopping related information. This means that information is provided for shoppers interested in buying products with the best deals on the internet. This site would give me the best options in choosing the right store that would give me an idea on where to buy my Nintendo Wii this coming Christmas.

Go go gadgets

Monday, June 02, 2008

While going around the mall doing some Window-shopping together with my friends. I can’t resist myself looking at this particular gadget. It’s actually a Touchscreen MP4 Player with 2.8-inch LCD. Although my mp3 player is still alive and kicking, but there’s a sudden feeling within me that makes me want to acquire that particular gadget for no cause. Maybe I just admired its beauty as well as its functionality cause compared to my mp3 player its no match with its touch screen and storage capacity, which is 4giga byte. Wait till I get my hands on that particular device. Good thing there are online payday loans willing to lend a quick hand to those who are in dire need of cash. Looks like I’ll be applying for one.

Thoughts To Ponder

Did you know that 1 kilo of rice here in the Philippines almost costs a dollar? Yeah some of you are not familiar or do not care about this, but to us Filipinos, an increase in the commodity rates mean more people are going to be starving. There are jobs but some are not worth it. My friend who’s working in the government said to me that even his salary is not worth the hardwork he’s done. Although I am in no place to judge, still I am carried away by how he hates his job as a government employee. In my case, I’m satisfied with my current job and it pays well. Although I “sometimes” get a problem with my finances due to overspending. Well there are payday loans out their willing to lend money and are willing to help you instantly. I just wish and hope that our country will soon rise from poverty.

How to prepare during trade shows?

Monday, March 17, 2008

When you are planning to join for a trade show, you certainly need to be concise in choosing the right tools and materials that would perfectly fit in your exhibitions. Therefore, exhibitors need to prepare and be exact on the things needed for the presentation and the delivery to be precise. So what really needs to be done for one to prepare for that perfect exhibit? Here are some common tips in preparing for an exhibition. Aside from careful planning, you would need to prepare your trade show booths of course. Then there comes the Pipe and Drape, which the exhibitors will use to make the booths. After setting up your lovely booths, you will then need to put up banner stands and beautifully designed and attractive table skirts that will catch the eyes of the visitors. And lastly set up your exhibit and welcome your visitors respectively as they take a look around your little corner.

Yahoo! I mean Google!

Friday, February 29, 2008

I was very happy today. Want to ask why? Cause my entertainment blog just got a Page Rank 3 in Google. Isn’t that amazing? I wasn’t even updating my blog for quite a while now and I’m not even done redesigning it. When I checked it earlier, I saw that it had ranked. Although I’m still doubtful that this might just be a bug or something cause Google is not yet updating and by looking at it, my blog ain’t even worth the rank. LOL Check out my blog and see your PR tool if it really ranked.

Leave me a comment if Google really made it rank.

Life Oh Life...

Tuesday, February 26, 2008

Life is very hard nowadays. As each day passes it’s getting harder and harder. Prices of commodities are getting higher and salaries of ordinary employees aren’t getting any bigger either. Its like everyday is always a challenge for all of us. Some of us are lucky that we still have jobs; we could still afford to buy ourselves what we need. But it’s still hard though, and there will definitely come a time that you’ll need a financial backup plan in order for you to escape away from drowning in debts. Good thing there are payday loans, which are available nowadays. Its one solution for getting quick money through cash loans that could definitely benefit a person who’s tied up in so many debts. It’s like a breather for us and since it is secured and hassle free. An ordinary employee just like me could benefit from it in times when money is badly needed and the next payday is still weeks ahead. It’s probably the best option one can get than lending from friends or relatives in relatively and untimely manner. Easy payday online loan can definitely help you in times of financial crisis. It’s up to you to decide whether its for the good or not, after all you’re the one deciding for yourself.

What If I was God for a day?

Monday, February 25, 2008

Earlier this morning, I watched Jim Carrey’s movie entitled Bruce Almighty. It was a funny story about an ordinary man, who failed in his reporting career and was endowed by God with the power to become HIM; the Alpha and Omega. Luckily Bruce, played by Jim Carrey, was able to handle the job of being God by doing the most out of his supernatural powers thereby leading to his successful career. But unluckily, he was not able to do his responsibility as God himself. It just struck my mind for a moment, imagining that what if I was God for a day. It would really be great to be God with all the unimaginable powers I would acquire for a day. I could even do things that normal people can’t do. I can even save the world for a single day. That’s not bad, after all I am entitled to a single day, becoming what I wanted dearly. But then there are things I also need to sacrifice, if I’d be God, I should do all his works. Answer a lot of prayers and do things that no man could have ever done, help those who need help, be the superhero, and specially create wonders in the world. It means sacrificing one day for the world. That would be pretty difficult for me, cause in fact I cannot be like God, even if I was given those tremendous powers, and never in my wildest dreams do I want to become Him. He is the MAN and nothing can change Him as the Alpha and the Omega. Well, dreams are for free, maybe I’ll just dream more. I can be like God in my own ways. =)

Speaking of Cars

Dodge Intrepid
Buying a car is like buying your own dream home. It is a dream come true for one to be able to acquire a brand new car. For me, if I have the financial capacity to indulge myself with the things that I dearly like. I would prefer to buy a brand new Dodge Intrepid. To those of you who are not familiar with this car, it’s a United States-based automobile brand, a four-door, full-size, front-wheel drive sedan. It’s a typical family-type vehicle that goes smoothly on the road. You’re probably asking why of all luxury cars there is in the world, why did I choose this? It’s probably because of its simplicity and comfort. A car so simple yet so swift can go a lot of distance and would of course save you money. Probably in 4-5 years time, I’d get myself a car loan so that I can import one of my dream cars. Right now, I’m still looking for an auto loan company that would give me the best auto loan rates there is available. I need to make sure that the loan I’m going to get can be bearable when it comes to the payment terms. Since consumers like me definitely wants an advantage when it comes to affordable loan solutions.

Reflecting on the things that just happened

Wednesday, February 20, 2008

Opportunities in life come and go as they say. But I think it’s one way of learning how a person can grow and learn from it. Just recently our client already concluded our current outsourced project. Meaning, they no longer need the service of our team. I felt a little bit sad about the recent happening since that project was our source of bread and butter. But what can we do, it just happened and we never expected it. Our company handled that project for more than 3 years now and losing it was like losing someone you’ve learned to love. I just can’t imagine myself being unemployed at this moment, I still can’t afford to lose my job; it's like any moment from now, I may need to get payday loans for all my current debts, a payday loan, which can be easily obtained for emergency purposes. It actually helps people who are in need of short-term financial assistance. It’s far better than applying in banks, which would take so long before a loan could be granted. But thank God I was relieved knowing that we will still be absorbed by our company and that we are still given new opportunities to prove our worth.

My New Laptop: Widgets and Gadgets Galore

Photobucket
I just bought my very own second-hand laptop yesterday; its a Toshiba Satellite 1905-S301 laptop. It is driven by a fast 2 GHz Pentium 4 processor, with 512 MB of SDRAM (expandable to 1,024 MB), a fast front-side bus speed of 400 MHz, and a 128 MB ATI M6-P graphics chip. It has a 15-inch XGA TFT active-matrix display, a 40 GB hard drive and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW. I got it in an Ebay auction and it costs around Php 16, 000. When I contacted the seller about the price, at first, he disagreed on giving me a discount since he's going to be the one handling the shipping fee. But then he changed his mind and lowered the price to Php 15, 000, still I insisted on lowering the price further. It's through my negotiating "abilities" which convinced him to give it to me in a very affordable rate which is, of course, an advantage for both of us. Since he's going to ship it here in Cagayan and I will pay an interbranch fee for the payment deposit. I bought the stuff for Php 14,500 and indeed it is a very agreeable deal. It's already being delivered now and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Of course, I'm excited and can't wait to use my new "but-not-new" laptop.

To the seller Mr. Elvis Manyika, thanks you so much for being very pleasant and professional in our transaction. Two thumbs up for you man! If you're interested in buying pay a visit to his Ebay section.

Playing online billiards is fun

Wednesday, February 13, 2008

Photobucket

I have always loved the game of billiards. And honestly speaking, I am a fanatic of the world-renowned game. Now that we’re in the new era of gaming, playing online billiard is just a simple click away. Just recently I came upon a website that allows gamers to compete with other players online. Billiard Magic offers a range of 3-D ball games such as 9 balls, 8 balls to online snooker. Their user-friendly and well designed site not only allows you to browse over some interesting games, but you can also even play pool tournaments with other foreign players. What could be more interesting than that?

Wishful thinking -- Dell XPS M1330

Thursday, February 07, 2008

This post is entirely attributed to all my personal and material longings in life. Nah, maybe not! But still it is... Anyway, I was thinking a while ago on what to buy on my birthday as a present, of course, for myself. What if I bought a brand new car for my birthday? Mmmm too expensive. Or maybe buy a Nokia Xpress Music phone? It's already on my wish list so I'd still probably buy it one of these days. Ting! I knew it what I need for my birthday is a new laptop just like this -- a Dell XPS M1330 laptop or rather a refurbished macbook air would also be perfect. Wowowee! This is probably it, I can already feel it in my senses. Imagine me using this kind of cool gadget and bringing it with me in the office. Oh yeah! All desktop users please proceed to the laptop department and buy yourself a laptop. Lol I was just joking about that, I might offend my friends who are into the desktop frenzy. Enough about that and back to the main topic, which is buying me mucho eh laptop si senior. But how on earth can I afford such stuff? It'd probably cost around $1,300-2000 bucks. Cool! A gift for myself on my 50th birthday, yeah I'd wait for another 25 years for that gadget to be obsolete and affordable in the market, until I can buy it for myself.

The end is near!

Experience the thrill

The best casinos in the world are found in Las Vegas; that’s a fact. But what if I am interested in gambling, but do not have the luxury of time flying into other countries just to play casino? Do you know what I do to experience the same thrill of playing casino just like in Vegas? Yeah I think you’ve already guessed it, I play online casino. Because of the hectic time I have with my job and my personal life, I can no longer spend extra time to indulge on the things I want to do. So to spare me from wanting, I sit in front of my computer and gamble online. It is indeed a stress relief if you enjoy what you like to do best. With an online casino review site, I will no longer have to choose what casinos are best when you play online because they list mostly all high-rated casinos there is on the web. Looks like I’m going for another slot game during my break time. Catch you later.

Itsy Bitsy Ratty Business

My girlfriend’s mom was complaining about the rat problem they have in their house. The rats are having the time of their lives ravaging all the things they find around the house; devouring every little piece they could put their mouths into. Even the house’s electrical wirings were bitten which caused a whole day blackout. Those pests were really causing a lot of trouble already and they can’t be stopped. It’s very alarming what these pests are capable of doing. Just last month, I had to repair their home stereo because those unforgiving rodents ate the components wirings leaving only the copper wires. I personally advised her mother to seek the assistance of a pest control expert since they are able to handle these kinds of situations. While surfing the net for some late minute pest control research, I found my way into this pest control service site named Terminix. They actually help homes and businesses through their integrated pest management services. I’d probably recommend this to my soon-to-be mother in law. And I hope their pest problem would soon be solved.

I want this -- Nokia 5310 Xpress

Photobucket

I wanted to buy a new cell phone. So I searched for it on the net of course, since it’s more reliable if you’re seeking for the phone’s specifications. While surfing for new releases of Nokia, my eyes suddenly couldn’t resist not looking at this particular phone. Before it was a Jansport Elefunk bag that I want, but now I’m craving to have this phone, a Nokia 5310 Xpress. Although I’m not particularly into “what’s latest” or the “IN” thing, but I definitely follow my own needs and wants. So there it is a new phone for my not-so-luxurious lifestyle. Its actually very convenient cause it’s slim and very handy, not like my Nokia Engage phone, which is quite very bulky.

Please Santa, can I have this phone like a month from now? I know it's still early to ask for Xmas presents but I really really wanted to have this phone. Can you please make its price lower in the next month so I can afford to buy one? Lol

For those of you who are interested in buying this phone here are some of its specifications:

My dad and his gardening frenzy

Just this morning I saw my father working in our garden. He usually does his daily routine of taking care of his precious plants; cutting all the weeds that grew around the garden, rearranging the plants and of course watering them. His day would never be complete without his daily morning rituals and he does it day by day for the whole week. My father is really interested in gardening and I bet if he’d be working in a landscape and lawn service company such as Tru Green, he’d probably be one of the best. But as far as I know, gardening and landscaping is just part of his past time so I would never even think if he’d be interested in such a company anyway. Last week he bought a bunch of ornamental plants, I don’t know why he bought them but I definitely think that he wants to redesign his garden and add more to his plant collections. I bet next week he’ll be redesigning again and I don’t know what he’ll do next. Buy a lawnmower? Maybe?

Good News Paypal Users! You can now withdraw your Paypal funds to your Philippine bank account

Tuesday, January 29, 2008

Earlier I received an email from Paypal confirming that customers from the Philippines can now add their bank account to their paypal account. So there's no more hassle in withdrawing money cause local banks will now be accepting Paypal. Isn't it a good news to all Philippine bloggers? We can now maximize the services offered to us by Paypal.

For Philippine users, withdrawals equal or more than PHP 7,000 are free. For withdrawal amounts of less than PHP 7,000, there will be a nominal fee of PHP 50. It usually takes 5-7 business days for a transaction to be processed. So hurry add your bank account now and transact.

Better care for your loved ones

When we reach the peak of our adulthood, our body gets tired and weary. It’s like an engine or a machine that breaks down as time passes by. Usually, we see our grandparents live most of their old aged lives and that’s what happens when we ourselves, in the right period of time, will also live our fruitful existence. I’ve come to think of it, what will I be 50 years from now? Though I’m worried a bit that I might end up being alone, but if that is my destiny, then so be it.

I would probably prefer being in nursing homes rather than die alone and left out in the world. Good thing there exists today some facilities that cater to old aged people. So if you have a loved one who needs proper attention and care, they have already found the place where they will fit in along with other old aged folks, who also need the care of certified and devoted caregivers. If you’re doubtful about the services they offer then try visiting this website about care homes. Bettercaring.com is a resource guide for those people seeking the right care and attention for their old aged parents, relatives or themselves. Choosing the right care and attention would then be very easy since they are dedicated to provide you with all options needed to definitely have the service that you and your loved one’s will deserve. So if you love your family, you should not hesitate to give them the best possible care solution there is available.

Itinerary for my future travel

Saturday, January 19, 2008

If I were to go on a vacation, I would probably choose to go to Barcelona. With its historical and magnificent attractions, busy central streets, and frequently visited and oldest beaches such as the Sant Sebastià and Barceloneta; Barcelona is on my top list of places that I would like to visit when I go abroad.

When it comes to accommodation, the second largest city of Spain offers the finest suites and amenities for travelers and tourists alike. As for my future itinerary, the first trip would be to walk down the streets of Las Ramblas and stay at one of the Barcelona Hotels. On the second day of my visit, I would probably visit the Picasso Museum, walk up and down Passeig de Gràcia, and take a ride on the bus and stroll around the area. As for my third day, I would probably try spending one night in one of the cheap Ramblas Hotels in Las Ramblas area.

It would also be nice if I learn a bit of Spanish so that I can talk to some local people in Barcelona. So if I would ask somebody about Barcelona Hoteles, they would surely understand me. And for my last day in the second largest city of Spain, I’d love to go on a day trip in Montserrat by train, yeah, that would be very interesting. And before I would leave one of the Barcelona Hotels I have checked-in to, I would really appreciate it if I’d be given a discount for the duration of my stay in their lovely city. (Winks)

Enjoying my favorite past time

My work is so stressful, I need to unwind and relax a bit due to the tiring and very time-consuming job that I have. And one way of doing that is to indulge myself in playing online casino. It’s one way of releasing stress, and also chances of earning big bucks are just clicks away.

But how am I going to choose the right online casino when there are thousands of casino websites swarming the web? It’s good to know that there are useful sites that cater to online casino gamers. Beware of fake Nokia handsets

Friday, January 18, 2008

I recently read an article from the Inquirer which actually warns consumers from buying fake handsets sold locally.

Here's the rest of the article, read it and be wary:

MANILA, Philippines -- Mobile phone company Nokia Philippines is warning consumers about the proliferation of fake Nokia devices being sold in the local market.

A team from the Asia Pacific region is now coordinating with local enforcement agencies to conduct an investigation on the sale of these fake products, which is likely violating the company’s brand, said Nikka Singson-Abes, corporate communications manager of Nokia Philippines Inc., in an interview.

Singson-Abes said Nokia Philippines has received reports from its Nokia centers that have been receiving fake products from customers wanting to have the units serviced.

“We’re also trying to verify reports about those being sold in popular malls and in the provinces,” she said.

The Nokia Philippines executive said the latest Nokia phone models like Nokia Xpress Music Nokia N81, Nokia 5310, Nokia N95, Nokia N82, Nokia 6120, were being sold at half or a third of the original price, which is an indicator that the unit might be fake.

“They’re branded Nokia and sometimes even the packaging is made to look like the real thing. I am told the phones are lighter in weight than the original. Some are being brought to the Nokia Care Centers for repair and because they are fake, they are turned down,” she said in an e-mailed advisory.

Asked how serious the problem has turned into, Singson-Abes said this development has already prompted the local office to warn consumers.

a.) Price of a fake Nokia is almost half or one-third of its original counterpart.
b.) Abnormally lightweight phones can be fake, so beware, for humans light weights are in but not for phones.
c.) Fake mobile don’t have the blue colored 12-month warranty sticker. If the phone has the sticker then use the other ways to identify fakes.
d.) Unavailability of or poorly printed Nokia Care tamper proof warranty stickers are sign of a fake Nokia mobile handset.
e.) Genuine Nokia phones have a tamper-proof label at the back and they also have tamper-proof warranty seal.
f.) Original Nokia phone have batteries with hologram showing Nokia “Connecting people” logo and “Original Enhancements” written on them. If you slant the hologram left, right, down, and up you will see 1,2,3 and 4 dots on each side.

Dealing with bad credits

Are you experiencing bad credits? I mean more and more consumers nowadays; especially households are dealing with it day-by-day. Who in the world doesn’t have a bad credit anyway? Usually as we go through our daily living, the demand for credit increases. In order for a person to financially recover from debt, one should take the risk in finding the right credit loan offers to be back on track.

For those consumers out there who are wishing to regain back their financial position, you’d probably be interested in checking out this site about bad credit loans. Bad Credit Offers is a resource guide for consumers who are looking for the "right service to trust" when it comes to settling their bad credits. It could be a useful resource in settling all your financial debts. Just take time to review their offers; maybe one would fit to your dire needs. There’s no stopping now, cause once you’ve found the right solution to all your problems, you’d probably think of new ways to improve your financial outlooks in life.

A gift for my mom on her birthday

My mom is the best! I never saw her get tired of doing all the household chores. Even though she’s just a simple and plain housewife, she has the best career in taking care of our family. One day, I saw my mom sweeping off dog hairs and dust from our floor, then I thought for a second and asked myself -- what if I buy my mom an electrolux vacuum cleaner on her birthday? That would definitely help her a lot at home and relieve her of all that stressful sweeping and dusting work. She could benefit from it since she does the entire spic and span job at home.

I would definitely buy an electrolux vacuum cleaner since it is very affordable, easy-to-use, light weight, and durable in the sense that it could last a long time. It is also highly recommended to all consumers and it has positive ratings when it comes to its durability and portability. It would be the best gift ever; my mom would never even worry if our pet dog leaves his hairs in every corner of the house cause my mom can just turn on the electrolux vacuum cleaner's button and voila cleaning is as easy as 123.

Running my own business with Ashop Commerce

A week ago, I have already started my own personal business. It’s not much of an online business actually, but I think it would probably earn as far as I’m concern. I have been designing t-shirts and stickers for bloggers. It’s like promoting what I like to do through personally designed shirts and stickers. So right now when customers will start inquiring and buying my products, I really have to acquire an e-commerce software for all my business transactions. Good thing I learned about Ashop Commerce, their useful shopping cart software helps a lot in dealing with online transactions for product or merchandise purchasing. With its easy-to-use features, customers would probably have no difficulty in transacting using only their credit cards for purchasing. Many American merchants have already used this product and are satisfied with how their business is going. So maybe I would also benefit from their offer; why don’t I give it a try and see how their product goes.

Gambling for fun

Friday, January 04, 2008

Since then gambling for me was a way of releasing stress. I don't gamble because I want to win huge bucks, aside from the fact that gambling is one way of getting easy money, but I'm in to it for the fun. Usually, me and my friends spend a couple of bucks in slot machines cause it is more fun than betting with a co-player. Now that their are online casino games around the Internet, I will no longer have to go and find a casino around town. I will just have to sit in front of my PC, look for a gambling site, bet using my credit card and voila I'm already playing.

Online casino reviews such as the PRO360 is very helpful for gamblers like me cause I find it hard to choose the best gambling sites there is on the Internet. With thousands of sites, you can never distinguish which of which you want to choose. It's better to pick the best casinos their is if you're really a serious gambler.

Financing my own business

Just a year ago I was planning to put up my own business. Just a simple buy and sell type of business in which, I could earn aside from working in a corporate company. Though at first I had second thoughts on how in the world I could build my own business, since I don't have enough finances to cover for the all the expenses and I am no expert in business handling. A friend of mine, who's into online business, told me that there's a solution to my financial difficulties. He introduced me to a website called Cash Advance 1500, which deals with cash advance and payday loans. I read about the advantages of online loans and indeed it helps a lot of consumers who are maybe planning to fund their business or are just simply in need of financial assistance. When the time comes that I push through with this endeavor of mine, I would definitely go for an online loan.

Sleep Tight Baby

Wednesday, January 02, 2008

Looks like I've found a way of making all babies sleep and not mess around while their mommies and daddies are busy. One jumbo bottle of beer is what it takes to keep them asleep the whole damn night or even at daytime. LOL

I named this baby as RH cause he's soo dozed of emptying one whole bottle of the real strong suff.
